Automatic Page Turner
A mechanical and electronic device developed with students to turn pages and sheet music automatically.
The page turner originated as a school-to-work learning programme with students from IIS Mattei-Fortunato. The laboratory integrates mechanical design, electronics and programming.
Arduino controls the motor and movement sequence, while 3D printing and prototyping support experimentation with rollers, mounts and gripping systems.
Beyond the technological challenge, the project demonstrates how a prototype can become a tool for autonomy and inclusion.
